The main aim of this blog is to interpret the Christian Order in the light of current affairs, philosophy, literature and the arts -- and vice versa. So it's about ideas. Social, political and religious comment. Links, notes on people, places, events, books, movies etc.
And mainly a place where I can post half-baked ideas in the hope that other people, or the passing of time, will help me to bake them.

Sky watch
Some bloggers post pictures o Sky watch Friday, showing interesting pictures of the sky. We don't seem to have many, but this morning's sunrise seemed worth recording, even though it's munday.
Great colours! But isn't it frustrating when all the towers, buildings, walls and wires seem to want to occupy the same sky space as the beautiful clouds and light? Never fails when I see great sky.

Yes! I saw that this morning also, from the 4Ways direction. It was truly on fire.

Wow Steve that is an amazing sky. It truly looks apocalyptic!

Very beautiful indeed :-)
We only see interesting sunrises like these about once every few months. Interesting that it was similar at Fourways (about 40 km from where we are).
